About Fitshortie:

The Fitshortie channel includes videos on tropical fruits, raw food, travel, life hacks, weight loss and how to live your dream life!

Our adventure began on Instagram when Simon aka Chippy looked up #fruitarian and was magnetized by Tina’s juicy fruit pictures. Half a year later, once in Bali, he suggested a meet-up. Inseparable since that first meeting, together they became insatiable in the hunt for the rarest best-tasting fruits on the planet.

These varieties are better to me. More meaty/flavorful/crunchier than their distant cousins! The kind with thin walls/ big seeds /very bland is the kind we had back home in Vietnam! Glad you get to enjoy them both

In Trinidad, this is called pomerac. My favorite fruit of all time. Too bad I haven't had it in over 30 years😢. Such a distinct unforgettable taste😊

In some parts of the Caribbean these are called Pomarosa and are just as big if not more.
The fragrance that they exude before even biting into them should inspire many parfums. It is delicious, and it surprised me that the aroma was the last thing to be pointed out since its so powerful and yummy 😍.

In Malaysia 🇲🇾 we call this beautiful fruit “Jambu Air”. This one particularly is called “Jambu Air Madu”. This variant is bigger than the other Jambu Air and juicier. We normally eat this with sweet & spicy dipping sauce (Kuah Rojak) or sweetened dried plum powder. We also mix this in fruit salad with other fruits or veggies which we call it “Rojak Buah”. It’s really delicious! ❤
