I AGREE SO MUCH. IN SCIENCE GCSE THEY DON'T EXPLAIN HOW THINGS WORK, WE JUST HAVE TO LEARN IT AND REGURGITATE IT IN THE EXAM

I really want to take physics as i love anything to do with space and the astrophysics side of things but I'm worried I'm gonna really struggle as I'm not very good at maths and I'm just so conflicted urghhh!

I'm the same I picked physics because it went well with maths and further maths but it's ended up being my favourite and I actually find it a lot easier than maths because it gives a reason behind everything that makes it easier to remember. I want to do physics or a physics-related subject at university and I'm so glad I picked it. In all the subjects I picked there are not many girls and in Physics I am the only girl as well. Love your videos btw :)

I'm taking 4 alevels but have to drop one apparently.(Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology). Is it okay for uni that I drop maths and take all 3 sciences? I dislike maths out of all of those 4 but I also know how important the subject is. I find the sciences far more interesting, the theory side, and less so the mathematical side.

I find GCSE physics okay but yeah, it can be quite boring. I’m unsure what I want as my third A Level (I’ve chosen A Level maths and computer science). But I think I like the sound of the stuff you mentioned like learning about the universe and that. That sounds great. So wish me luck in year 12 doing A Level Physics ay.

I'm going into Yr 11 next academic year and I have a problem where physics is my best science but I always get the lowest score out of all the sciences in my end of year exams. My estimated grade for my actual GCSEs lowered bc of this and idk if I will struggle way too much in physics a level

I’ve been doing AS physics for about a month now and I don’t understand a single thing, probably doesn’t help that my teacher doesn’t explain stuff very well and doesn’t convey the information in a way so that I can make notes on it

Ok well I really like physics and find it super interesting but it's the worse of my 3 sciences at a 6 rn so I was scared to take it but after this I think Im going to take it so thankyou

i'm considering taking it. i think i'm probably more interested in stuff like particle physics than things like electricity or engineering, but i think the particle physics doesn't really come in till the second year - am i right on that? and anyone else that feels/felt similar, was the first year still fun?

"It just is accept it" happens on biology mainly because the teacher doesn't like telling us stuff that isn't actually the truth he'll be like "its a lot more complicated but you don't need to know that"

I would like to do physics at a level or in IB but I've always thought it would be way too hard - how did people find it in your class ?
