Piecing together an account of the life of Queen of Sheba from varied sources gives one a fascinating glimpse into the ancient world, and from the turmoil of this chaos of information rises one constant figure: the queen herself.
In every account, she is bold and wise, fearless and selfless. She strives to bring peace and protection to her country. And instead of backing away from the responsibility, she seizes it with two hands. She travels the world seeking wisdom, and when she finds love instead, she has the courage to unselfishly turn her back on that love and journey back to a home that she has promised to care for.
At every turn, the Queen of Sheba remains one of the earliest symbols of female power, and her story—her legend—still serves to be a fascinating and inspiring one, one that speaks to hearts and minds even today, whether it is myth or history.

Fun fact: In spite of the fact that the Queen of Sheba is one of the most celebrated figures, but even the basic details about her are little known, including her name and origins. Tradition puts her date of birth in the last half of the 11th century BCE and her passing away in around 955 BCE.

Surah an-Naml
44. It was said to her, “Go inside the courtyard.” And when she saw it, she thought it was a pool, and she uncovered her legs. He said, “It is a courtyard paved with crystal.” She said, “My Lord, I have wronged myself, and I have submitted with Solomon, to Allah, Lord of the Worlds.”

Muslim accounts didn't say Queen Sheba had hairy legs, that's your fabrications. The account is written pretty clear in the Holy Quran. She thought there's a pool of water underneath her because the floor is made from glass and the water can be seen flowing.

My mother would often refer to me as the queen of Sheba. She will say: what do you think; you're the Queen of Sheba? My response will always be the same: the heck you talking about, woman? Now I know...

It’s funny how the pictures of her & him changed from dark skin to pale skin 🤔

I think she was in Sudan (historically known as Aethopia), even if not she was an AFRICAN queen. Dark skin, curly hair, a regal air.

Bible stated that Queen Sheba comes from Ethiopia, and Bile mentioned Ethiopia in some scriptures.

I like history to be accurate. And I think you did an amazing job discussing all possible links. But why the image of someone with European features as the thumbnail art when u displayed so many beautiful depictions of her from the land most historians agree on.

Islam teaches that Sheba lifted up her gown because she saw the glass with water under it and thought that she was going to be walking into water and didn't want to wet her gown. Also, Solomon sent the fastest jinn to go to Sheba's kingdom and get her throne and bring it to Israel. So Sheba left Ethiopia and her throne behind but to her amazement when she reached Israel she found her throne there waiting for her.

Correction: Many Ancient African queens ruled without a husband. In certain cultures to today e.g the Basotho from Lesotho, she doesn't marry at all in some cases. The Kendake's of Kush not only ruled alone but the Queen Mothers would select the next ruler e.g Kendake Amanirenas.
