Camping with Beetles | Budget Overlanding

Who said you need a big bulky bakkie to go camping? We took on the challenge to go camping in stock-standard Beetles and here is the result!

Thanks to Pierre Nortje for the Beetles and Hendri Mouton from Zombie Offroad, we took to the West-Coast on our epic journey. We had a few issues, but memories that will make those issues look petty. We had an amazing trip and we turned so many heads when we rocked up to a campsite know for 4x4's only. The sunset that night was something I won't ever forget. It felt like we time traveled and I will gladly travel more with such iconic cars!
