Bought 300g of Barnett's at the market this weekend and forgot how insanely sour they are - it's hard to describe, the taste goes beyond sour to kind of salty/astringent, and they burn the hell out of your mouth. I've got through about 8 in the first couple of days and now my tongue is red raw, so it hurts even more when I stupidly go for another one. It must be a form of masochism, but they're addictive. Going to have to give them a rest for a few days to let my mouth heal and so I don't lose all my teeth!

I’ve ordered Barnett’s mega sours off Amazon for the past 3 years! They’re the best sour candy ever especially when I give it to unsuspecting friends who say they can take sour until they actually try it! I love the blue berry flavor!

This video I hilarious!!! I love these mega sours, they make them near to where I live in England. They are delicious..I have some here even now!! they used to be a lot more sour as they used to have citric acid in the inside as well as the outside unlike now where there is fizz but they've toned them down a lot. You should have eaten two or three at once to experience a real challenge. You need to place then in a sealed jar otherwise they go sticky really quickly.

I just tried these for the first time tonight and I can say without any doubt that their reactions were genuine. I was absolutely FLOORED by how sour it was! All I could do was laugh hysterically until the coating dissipated. My only regret is I didn't get it on video
