One day the Braves earn you a suspension. The next you earn a ring with them.

Where has Greg Gibson, the home plate umpire, who was motioning to both players gone off too? I miss him :(

That was easily the most casual way I've ever seen an ump eject somebody before.

I love that an advert for Easton Pine Tar popped up on the side of the video for me XD

I did not know until I saw his R arm by the umpire. Looks like illegal PINE TAR, and the umpire saw it in plain sight--AND HE WAS TOSSED FROM THE BALLGAME!

A strong admonition for other pitchers not to do what Smith did, so they can avoid being ejected from the game also.

I like it how the umpire don't do the crazy signal to eject a player

Now a three-time WS champion. First player in pro sports history to win three straight championships with three different teams.

for those who don't understand why hes really mad..both pitchers (Julio Teheran for the Braves) were using sticky stuff and it was one of those things that each side knew but didn't care that's why he was mad

MLB and umpires need to be consistent with their screening/monitoring for cheaters like this. There have been plenty in the past blantantly cheating and not being called out for it or questioned during games. Either come down full force on cheaters in the game or don't even bother at all.

You can see it on his arm. He shouts in the dugout out of embarrassment 😄
