My grandpa was a huge Chiefs fan. He sadly passed away in 2019. A couple months later, his Chiefs finally won the superbowl😭

Epic video NFL Films! Captured so much of the games history. It's awesome seeing old football crowds from back in the day.

My grandpa died on April 1, 2017 (one day before my 19th birthday), he was a big time Chiefs fan and it was almost three months after seeing the Chiefs lose to the Steelers in the playoffs. When they won the Super Bowl back in February, all I kept thinking about that night was my grandpa celebrating in heaven. RIP Pa

man i still cry seeing this. i waited my whole life for this. hell, it got to the point i just wanted to see a playoff win...i was born in 1990. at one point i was in my 20's and the chiefs hadn't won a playoff game since i was 4, aka too young to remember. they had made the playoffs so many times just to be 1 and done every single freaking time. to see them finally hoist that trophy after all that pain and heart break. words can't describe it to steelers or patriots fans who grew up just winning playoff games and superbowls like it was expected.

idk if mahomes will ever truly comprehend what he means to chiefs kingdom.

I’m a Pats fan but gotta give it to this team. They really did overcome everything in the playoffs, crazy.

I remember telling myself in 2017 after Mariota caught his own pass for a touchdown that we would NEVER win a Super Bowl in my lifetime. Man did Mahomes turn things around.

Respect to the lifelong Chiefs fans that had gone thru the emotionally challenging period. Me myself, Chiefs fan since 2017 (as Toledo alumni when Kareem Hunt joined Chiefs) could not even stand the frustration when losing to Titans and Patriots 2017 & 2018. Bravo Chiefs finally get the Superbowl.

I almost cried watching this because of how emotional it is and I'm a bills fan. I got goosebumps watching it. Especially when they won the super bowl.

Imagine how ppl like my dad felt, not seeing the Jets win since ‘68...or Vikings fans...or Bills fans...Browns fans...I’m a giants fan but I’d love to see all the cities, with their great fans, win a chip.
