🔸MANOS HADJIDAKIS
The composer of the "ALIKI-MY LOVE" score is the internationally famous composer, Manos Hadjidakis, well known in Greece as a brilliant modern composer and concert pianist and Academy Award winner for his enchanting score to the motion picture "Never On Sunday". Long active in motion picture work in Greece, he wrote the scores for a number of foreign films as well, including "The 300 Spartans", "It Happened in Athens", Elia Kazan's "America, America" and many others. "ALIKI-MY LOVE" marks his first international collaboration with Aliki Vouyouklaki, the number one stage, screen and recording star of Greece.
ALIKI VOUYOUKLAKI
Blonde, beautiful, dynamic and extremely talented, Aliki Vou- youklaki is the most famous and successful young star of her native country, Greece. In six short years she has made not less than twelve feature films and starred in seven stage plays. Her films have been sensationally successful not only in Greece, but throughout the Middle East. In addition to being an actress, she is the foremost recording star of her country, especially of Hadjidakis music.
"ALIKI-MY LOVE" is their first collaboration in an English- speaking picture.
🔸JESS CONRAD
Jess Conrad, who co-stars with Aliki Vouyouklaki in "ALIKI-MY LOVE" was born in London and is fast becoming one of their top pop singers as well as a motion picture and television star. Aliki personally selected Jess to portray as her heart throb, marking his first appearance in an essentially American picture. He plans to come to the United States at the end of his present commitments in England and settle here.
🔸Rudolph MATE/GEORGE ST. GEORGE
"ALIKI-MY LOVE" is the third collaboration between Rudolph Mate, the veteran Hollywood director-producer, and George St. George, the well known writer-producer who has been working in Europe. Their first two team ventures were the Cinemascope color epic "The 300 Spartans" and "Seven Seas to Calais", but even then they were already preparing their first independent picture "ALIKI - MY LOVE". It was produced entirely on the Greek Island of los.

Artiste grecque, comédienne et chanteuse qui a fait rêver bien des jeunes hommes en Grèce dans les années 60. La Brigitte Bardot des Grecs !
Sa voix de très jeune fille l'a musicalement cantonnée dans un répertoire limité : elle a pourtant bénéficié du précieux concours de Manos Hadjidakis et même de Mikis Theodorakis.
Un internaute signale la médiocrité du scénario.
On reconnaît l'air de la Berceuse adapté dès 1963 par Nana Mouskouri qui en a même fait un succès de l'été 1964, sous le titre "Quatre Soleils" orchestré par Michel Legrand.
