Had about half dozen over the years. I loved my 62-4-6. A 62 body with 64 rear suspension and a 66 engine. Not fast but I just enjoyed driving it. Nader was not an engineer and didn't drive. He did't have a license.

My boyfriend has a 65 corvair monza. So many people comment on it. Seems either they have a story to share about one, or they're not sure what it is. It's a great cruising Have put well over 3000 miles on it in the past few months. Live in ohio, just west of Cleveland and have had it all over, including good guys in Columbus, Michigan twice. Just came back from Woodward dream cruise.

My uncle had a Corvair once, he even tried driving up a phone pole. Lol

I had a 1962 Red Four Door with a four on the floor with a bent flywheel and my cousin had a 1963 white two door convertible with an automatic transmission with burnt valves we would use his to push start my Corvair and when his got hot and stalled out I’d push his home to cool 😎 down so we could go back out in the Pennsylvania Mountains fields to make our own roads again
Not bad for underage drivers off reading to learn how to drive

My dad and grandpa were almost killed in a 62 Corvair death trap. The Chevy Vega of the early 60s

It's a '62, the tell tale of four missing trim pieces above & below the horizontal trim on the nose is the give away.
