now for me the problem is not in the mechanism i can understand the mechanism really well but when it comes to 20 mechanisms in one exam i tend to forget every single mechanism, can any one help me ?

uhm, ithink socl2 and the catalyst pyridine is only used in tertiary alcohol only..
not 1 degree and second degree
