Honestly, now that I got reminded of the Immortality Surgery, I'm thinking that Blackbeard could've became unstoppable had he went after Op-Op earlier.
Considering that Blackbeard knows how to obtain the power of multiple Devil fruits, if he went after Brook's fruit early on, he could get it, then stay low and hunt down Law for Op-Op fruit, perform the surgery on himself, and get revived by Revive-Revive fruit. Which would now let him live eternally, and seek Powerful fruits over longer periods of time and master his Haki. He could stay low, and collect powerful fruits for himself, and with power of multiple fruits plus incredible haki he could learn to use over time. He could become the Pirate King without a problem, and if there was an obstacle, he could wait it out, as he would be eternally young, and theu would wither away some day.

Then again I'm tired as fuck and might be misremembering shit, but this seems like a great plan

I'm curious why Law doesn't have an only alive bounty, considering they would want to be prepared to recover the fruit when they kill him. I guess it doesn't matter because by the time you get to like a 500 mil bounty there is no bounty hunter that can take you out anyway. I do hope we get some strong bounty hunters show up in the story, but we are so close to the end I dont see it happening.

With all the fruits out there it leads to think that there can potentially be two major kinds of Devil fruit users.

One that has the power over the oceans.
One that has the power over devils fruits themselves.

Personally I think Laugh Tale is a red Herring and we have already been to the location where the actual one piece exists.

I fully believe each of the Gorosei have that immortality, especially after what we've seen of them in recent. I also believe one of them has yet to gain immortality which is why they wanted to get their hands on the Ope fruit.
