Chopin's Nocturne no 20 in C-Sharp... no I mean in D-minor. Sorry Chopin, had to blues it up.

I'm a D'addario artist, simply because I LOVE and use their strings (they are the best IMO) check which ones I'm using here:

They say that nobody pays for music anymore, but I would pay good money for an album of Chopin's music with this kind of treatment. Thank you, Lucas!

Chopin just called me and said he was honestly very happy about the blues. PS: He likes your hat.

🐾🎶🎤🇫🇷When my nearly deaf dog first heard the violin come in, he could stop looking at me. “His master’s voice” 😍

The reason why I listen to music is for the emotional connection it can convey, as found in the Blues; unlike something considered dry and clinical that I cannot relate to. The blues helps to channel and align my emotional state.

Thank you for promoting and giving value to this notion!

Oh my, that could be the best stuff you ever put out. It's genuinely sublime and I'm sure Chopin would approve, since he did groove. He had a metronome on his piano all the time, and used it, he wrote dances, our impression of a floaty-non-rhythm Chopin is a modern interpretation, not how he did it.

Minor nitpick. That's a Russian accent, not Polish. Not a big deal. It's just that he'd likely be offended by this more than all the bluesy grooves you dished out. ;-)

Edit: In all my excitement I spelled groove as grove. Damn, that's good stuff! It's playing in the background as I'm writing this.

everything in this video is so well done - from the conservative classical music professor impression, to chopins love for improvisation, and of course the insane classical jazz fusion cover.

The contrast between the amateur"-ish" scenario/editing and the world class guitar/composing skills is just incredible !
Keep doing what you do please 🥰
