Milwaukee Packout Tote Bag Review | Updated Review | HANDYMAN HEADQUARTERS |

I did an updated review on this Milwaukee packout tote. It is rugged, durable, and an all around good bag. But for myself it didn't work out the way I had hoped and ended up being too small for my needs. Everything was kind of crammed in there and no easy to get out. If you have a specific trade with not as many tools it may be a good option. Also if you are constantly on the move at a jobsite.

I got a second 15” tote- now both of them roll around on my base- one has the everyday essentials and the second has the oddball stuff that I use, but not daily.

"It's so tight it's almost impossible to get some of this stuff out."
Dude.. you've got so much in there in this video. The 20" version would be a better fit for all this. You could consider clipping your TWO chunky tape measures and/or M12 Installation Driver to the metal attachments / d-rings on the sides.. Maybe reduce a few of those screwdrivers down to a good multi double-ended bit driver that can cover those other needs. "Frankenstein" a nice Milwaukee hex drill bit set/case to consolidate into one bit case with some choice bits e.g. socket adapters, torx, phillips, countersink+drill bit combo, etc.
That Husky bag seems like a winner too, though - especially at a much lower price point. It would work/close better without tall tools along the outer edges but you've got a lot of tall tools.
PS: The little Milwaukee 6ft and 10ft 'keychain' tapes with imperial & metric are great as an auxiliary (or even main, in the shop) tape measure. The 3 I got are nice, and the LED on the 10ft version is surprisingly handy.

I bought the 15” today and it’s going back tomorrow, while well built, it’s a poorly executed and cramped. I’m going back to my Husky.

Pockets suck on there bags. After having veto it’s hard to use another. But a veto tote and Milwaukee cleats. You won’t regret it

Just purchased my bag. Lifted the bag into my ute, and the padding on the one side got caught on my belt buckle and made a tiny hole. Now, because of the material, the hole is spreading like a woman's stocking, and now my new bag is looking like i purchased it two years ago. :(

The veto pro pac is so good but I won't keep buying them for 200+ dollars just for them to get destroyed

I don't think it's the tote it's the person that doesn't know how to organize 😅

Tool totes are like sheds; Always cluttered. Never big enough. Never small enough.

If it’s too small for your needs
Just get the bigger one and if that’s not enough just get something else

I’m a pool guy and the 15” Milwaukee is perfect for me, small low voltage panel work, small plumbing repairs different install and service calles. It’s awesome and I have it on top of my pack out in my van so if I need a tool quick I can grab pretty much any hand tool I need or my m12 impact with bits of course lol

Hi Guys!!! I've been trying to figure out the "perfect" handyman tool bag/box/bucket/etc. So far, I love the tool separation options in bags/tool buckets/backpacks. But, bags/tool buckets/backpacks have also left me with rusty tools in damp, rainy areas. My latest attempt has been using the Packout Compact Tool Box (Ammo Can). It's got a gasket to keep the weather out. And, if I remove the tool tray from the Box and just use the 6 compartments, I can put my hand tools, impact driver, etc. vertically in the box, which makes getting out tools not too bad. This Box is also a reasonable size to carry around by hand. However, it is expensive (~$70)!
