There were multiple vehicles, APCs, transports, tanks in the first game. I really hope they end up bringing all of that to this one.

In helldivers 1, i remember vehicles being strong because you could also deploy stratagems still from most of the mechs via a port on the shoulder. The weakest factor of them was being able to split a limited range from your teammates.... now with this larger open map, i want my apc back

Lets hope you can modify the armament on these. Think i mostly seen footage of a mech with a gatling cannon and missle pack. But ive also seen one with 2 gatling cannons. Perhaps they get more weapos too... las cannons 😅

They will have to increase the difficulty to 12 like they did in helldivers 1 if they bring out all these things that make it WAY easier.

It kinda looks under powered tbh. You've got to remember this looks like they're on a very low difficulty. Not many enemies or any higher tier enimes. Hmmmm it defo will be hard to balance. U don't want it too op but this looks kinda underwhelming to me! So excited.for it and hope it's great:)

Waiting for my beloved Justice Assault Rifle to reappear in Helldivers 2. That thing was just great and would be a nice alternative to the Breaker Shotgun.
Mechs slowed down the whole group quite a bit, but they worked well on the Illuminates - which hopefully will make another appearance.

Basically every weapon and stratagem functions identical to the first game and I suspect they will in the second aswell. We'll have 1 tank that needs 2 players (1 driver + gunner) 2 APC's, 1 motorbike with side-wagon and 3 mechs. 1 with gattling + anti intantry rockets (upgraded to light AP via ship), 1 with Cannon + Flamethrower and 1 with 2 Cannons.

I can't wait to get the illuminate back into the game and see people cry about the mobs that reverse your controls when they hit you haha, HD1 was a blast and I can't wait to see all the features back in HD2

Ngl, the game needs this stuff in it. The difficulty seems tuned around having more firepower then out basic weapons provide. Like the extraction missions for the VIP are brutal if you don't kill nearly every drop ship before it let's off its loads. And the tanks are a huge pain to deal with.

Were mechs deployed as a regular stratagem in hd1? Or was it a dedicated vehicle slot seperate from the four we deploy with. Just curious if we all need to replace a favorite element to our gem loadouts. Seems like an auto include that negates the need for turrets.

I have a friend who got in a game with a dev and now has the mech stratagem. its fun but it dies really easily. The light has has a machine gun and the left hand has a rocket launcher.

I wonder if the Mechs can have other additional weapons such as Recoiless rifle, shotguns, flamethrower, acidthrower, multi-rocket launcher or can even be a mini SEAF artillery user or Even a Shield user with a Melee weapon for close quarters🤔...but damn i can't wait to use this against those automatons. But definitely we do need a Tank.

Has anyone had a player spawn a mech in thier match today? I think i had a hacker who somehow got access to mechs and spawnd two of them
