Massive improvement by Tonga. Bad luck to be in such a strong pool but I think Kefu is building something strong here. Going back to old school tactics is exactly what Tonga needed.

Tonga played better attacking rugby achieving 2 beautiful tries and they owned the last 10 minutes of the 1st half and the entire 2nd half! But they "gifted" Argentina their 3rd try and the ref or his assistants didn't ...see and punish that shoulder charge from the argentinians to stop an almost certain Tonga try!... The game was lost in details... Greetings to Tonga from a Greek friend of Rugby!

Tonga will have to wait for the next cycle of generational excess of quality players that are not picked for the Top Tier 1 Rugby Nations before they can re-live past victories?They did well to qualify!
Samoa looks more in gel, than Tonga, despite bankruptcy (rumour has it the Samoan num 1 rated Archer, Prime Minister and President of Manu Samoa Rugby stole all the Money)and they have had a better excess of quality players to choose from than Tonga and it has showed so far in the WCup? They have rallied around each other despite the hardships and typically will not lay down without a fight! Samoa had the hardest path to qualify and their tenacity to never give up showed how much they wanted to be part of the WCup!
Fiji has always had abundant excess quality of players to choose from for their WCup Campaigns and have always maintain a winning culture!
Yet they are the under-achievers and by the right of the calibre of the players and the access to practically all their best players around the World, Fiji should at least make every WCup quarter finals?
As have shown this year, a easy qualification and a massive build up to WCup beating the NZ Maoris and winning the Pacific Cup yet they have totally failed to live up to the potential in most WCups including this year's WCup yet again!
Nesians will be a force in the coming WCups when their is no excess quality players left over to choose from only their BEST and the rest of the World have their left overs !
It is only a matter of time and generational cycle of players!
