Watching Michigan highlights, automatic watch. The Harbaugh connection was just strong... Macdonald, then Minter? (And going back to their mentor now, Coach Wink.) Everything came together last season for sure.

And Michigan is Michigan... a very good program, but they aren't pulling down croots like Ohio State or Alabama. Sherrone Moore's offense and Jesse Minter's defense put very good players in a position to beat 5* croots. The players understood team football, they played their role in the machine. Jim Harbaugh's overall leadership just helped make that band of brothers stuff work.

The sacks that they were able to get on Jalen Milroe & Alabama? Embarrassing for Bama, but it shows you how good Jesse Minter is at defense.
