Cerwin Vega: Still the King of Bass?

I have a 12" Cerein Vegas down firing subwoofer. It rocks

some old school cerwin vegas kick ass and get really loud i grew up to these my dad had the 15 inch cerwin Vegas and the 12 inch paired up with a Yamaha amp and cd player the the yellow display I've still never heard someone play the wall so loud and Supertramp albums great speakers also wakes up the whole neighbor hood !!!

Back in the day every one had cerwin vega or mtx loud speakers were the bomb. I still got mtx and my long time childhood friend still got cerwin vega. We always argue about which one is better.

I remember the 15inch cerwin Vega house speakers everyone had growing up if you were cool enough to have them lol. They were pretty dang loud too

Hoping to see your OSD Trevoce 15 video next week. I will be in San Diego this Wed. to Friday watch a few movies on the home theater. Morbius has some crazy bass scenes at the end of the movie I may watch it this weekend. Our Heatwave ends today now it will be 75-78 Highs for over a week. Was tough with 105 degrees weather and 80 at night.

Godzilla vs Kong got the Blu-Ray for $9.99 it was Very Good solid Bass from my OSD Trevoce 12's. First movie i was wondering if my neighbor was going to complain. But nobody said anything mostly i watched it Afternoon til 4 pm that's when they don't care about noises (Before 6 pm). They make most noises 7-10 AM. Interstellar bass scene I had to play one morning when the neighbors Rhodesian Ridgeback hunting dogs was barking too much waking me up at 8 AM. The Subwoofer bass from Rocket made the Wife bring her dog inside Fast.

The Stroker 18 is awesome! I've had mine in a couple cars since 1999 and hit 148.3dB with it. It's in my home theater as of now. Here I play it down to 1Hz.

The cone isn't red, just the surround is red.

The length and diameter of the port what really matters usually the longer the port the low it will be tuned to judging by the size of the box it's in its going to play load and a good mild low for that small of subwoofer..👍🤞✌️

You have made a wise decision if you're still at home. You gotta respect mom and anyone else who doesn't love music the way you do. That being said, back in the late 80s when I was living in Japan, I had a pair of (PD9). You can hardly find this model in the states. In two words; VERY DISRESPECTFUL! Best loud speakers I ever had. Not much competition in the dorms. 😊 try "We are Whodini" #oldschool4ever.

you need to get a pair of 90s set of cerwin Vegas and do a demo those new ones dont compare to the older ones they are built different like the VS series or AT-80
