Reflection Canyon - Lake Elevation 3544 - High-speed run at 2X time-lapse.

I don't like running canyons this fast, but I knew there was no one else in this canyon.

I was definitely pushing the high speed maneuverability of my Whaler in a couple of these turns.

Thank you for your efforts to share not only Lake Powells beauty, but the status of its depleting waters.

I had to hunt high and low for photos of this area pre-Lake Powell. It was known as Cottonwood Gulch, I believe, and it was spectacularly beautiful. I guess I wish you would have run this at normal speed with sound. I have viewed many videos of the overland backpack trip to the overlook of this area. It was interesting to see "the spine" up close. It reveals how far the lake level has dropped. The spine becomes visible at 3, 574 feet, so that means that there has been a 30-foot drop since it became visible. It's a little challenging to compare what is visible from lake level to the views from the overlooks above it. Thanks again for your investment of time, effort and money (gas is expensive) to make these videos. I enjoyed the short clip of the passage beneath Gregory Natural Bridge, also.
