Ready for a journey over the Pink Lake? Hutt Lagoon is a salt lake in Western Australia, located in Port Gregory, not far from Kalbarri.

It's pink because the water contains high levels of salt and algae that give it its distinctive colour. This drone footage shows you what this beautiful place looks like from above.

Although don't be fooled by all the pretty colours - it also came with a drone injury. We are still getting to know our drone and my fingers learnt a very valuable lesson. Worth it though...

We visited the Pink Lake of Hutt Lagoon as part of our 11-day Western Australia road trip between Perth and Kalbarri.
