The fact Muscle Man doesn’t regret having called Mordecai to read the letter was especially egregious. The way he and Starla responded to Mordecai hijacking their wedding was just tame: it’s their wedding, yet they’re not angry, just annoyed.

In all honesty, Mordecai was irredeemable after this. The writers made a good choice to not have him in any more relationships until he leaves the park.

I think the reason muscleman and starla didn't get more angry was because they knew Mordecai wasn't worth having the moment ruined any more than what he had already done

Honestly, this is one of mordecai's worst moments, along with killing rigby out of jealousy, instead of just congratulating muscle man and Starla he decides to make it about him and says the cringiest stuff ever. He only makes his situation with Margaret and cj even worse. This comes to show how insecure mordecai has become.

I can understand that Mordecai found Muscle Dad's words inspirational but that didn't give him any right to take over someone's wedding and try to make everything all about him. Honestly, this episode did Mordecai dirty.
