I stopped there back in 2010 out of curiosity while traveling on business. My last name is Childress. It has some serious WW2 history, as there was an airfield and a training base for the Air Force in that day. Probably a wild town back then. Not much going on in the old part of town but I was able to shoot some great photography that day. The folks that I met were awesome. A great day all in all.

I had THE BEST BBQ at a place there in Childress. Can't remember the name of it, but it beat anything I've had here in Dallas.
