This guy is awesome. His ability to understand the changing industry and current climate is spot on. He seems to get the balance between respecting tradition and evolution of the art exactly right. Top man.

For someone his age, Biver sure has more passion and open mindedness than most young businessmen...

Great inspiration to listen to this man speak, what a passion and dedication) Been seeing many of the videos, he's always in good mood, and have some wise thoughts to share around life, passion, love. I'm not particular into watches, but like design and fine mechanics, it's like a wonder seeing how he and his team managed to re-develop Hublot to a great success in a relative short time.

Biver is unique and one of the best. The interviewer TALKS way too much, in this and all of his interviews.

You know why there are so many failed companies, and people look around in confusion about how it went wrong. The answer is in questions like this "why do you think that the brand has to be relevant to it's time, pop culture, football players etc.?". It's not a mystery that one has to know why people buy your product. Not just that they do, but why? The answer is as Jean Claude said. You must be the psychiatrist of your customer. If you know why they like this or that, what is in their head when they buy your product then the quality and expense to make can be almost an afterthought. The best salesman is the one who can sell the "ketchup popsicle to a woman in white gloves".

Can anyone tell me what watch is Mr Biver wearing in this video? I cannot identify it. Thanks.

Biver did not get Bond to wear Omega! Someone working on the movie set convinced the director to use Omega since her family members wore Omega in the british navy and was proper for Bond

Wei Koh - I'm not the first to comment, but your interview and persona needs improvement. You do come across pretentious. I'm watching despite. Mr. Biver - my new found inspiration.

Biver is a showman. To compare him to the presidents of Rolex, Wilsdorf built the foundation of Rolex. No comparison between Wilsdorf and Biver. Wilsdorf was laser beam focused on building his brand. Biver is more flash in the pan he has the laser focus of a ten year old. Andre Heiniger and Patrick Heiniger put Rolex in the place it occupies today. That is where we can compare. Biver has had no base from which to build. He has only reshaped, rebranded, totally remade watch companies. He has been successful, but Biver would never fit in with a company like Rolex. Rolex stands far, far above Hublot, TAG, and even Breguet (remembering the present day Breguet is nothing like the company two hundred years ago). Biver is all show and flash as he is doing with TAG. TAG is crap, Hublot is overpriced and Breguet was done and finished one hundred years ago. Biver builds on no foundation like what has been built with Rolex. He wants his companies to absolutely dominate with no room for small brands and independents. He doesn't care about the watch industry.
