While Jimmy is doing a Jack Nicholson impression, Jerry is doing a Jimmy Fallon impression.

I love how Jerry loves storytelling structure so much, that he dissects and analyze the anecdotes that makes him laugh, in a constant search for that specific thing that makes something funny.

Oh Jimmy, why can't we see you just be this guy on your show. Kinda cool here 😎

Clicked on this because I knew it would be the highly rare, natural and at ease Fallon.

I can hear Jack asking, "Didja get the prize yet?" Absolutely classic. I agree with the others here who wish we could see THIS Fallon on TTS.

Jimmy's eyes when he said "Did you get the prize yet?" instantly transports him to Nicholson's soul.

The fact that he said a "tin whistle" made me laugh the hardest.

Jerry takes a funny joke... and makes it funnier -- by explaining it! which technically, should be impossible. he's so damn good.

About the Cracker Jack prize, that is so fucking true. Jerry: "it's all crumbling"

I love Jimmy Fallon when he gets to be himself, like when he talks with people he knows and doesn't feel the need to put on a show. (And also during the pandemic when there was no audience and he interacted more with The Roots / when he was at home.) Also, he's a good story teller! The Prince ping pong story is probably my favourite Tonight Show moment.

That was a damn good Nicholson impression, let's be honest.

"It's all crumbling." THAT is the subtext of Jerry's humor as well as the humor of Larry David and the TV show Seinfeld. Comedy IS pain. We laugh so we don't go crazy. But the best humor has pain at the root of it.

"It's all crumbling." So many times Jerry will add to something funny and make it even funnier. I love that.

This interview confirms my suspicions that Jack Nicholson isn't really acting in his movies, he is simply playing himself & what you see is what you get.

Great "Jack" story. Did the voice well. Seinfeld has good insight, he saw the melancholy. And, he's right, it's all crumbling.

Do we have a moment of genuine laughter from Jimmy for the first time ever?

My god I love this story. Brilliant! I've seen him tell it without the fact that Jack just looks out at the game whilst saying the line and its not the same! Fantastic.

even the most accomplished of grown adults revel in the days of childhood. That goes to show how precious those moments are

This is so basic, straightforward, and absolutely hilarious! 😂
