BIRTH
st The late Mathias M. Musau was born on 1 January, 1956 at Kwaloa village,
Kiimakiu by that time in Machakos (today Makueni County). He was the son of the
late Mr. Musau Muindu and late Mary Nzilani Musau. He was brother to Late
Francis Muthiani, late Julius Musau (Maxwell) late David Nthale Musau (Cllr
Mashambani, Kennedy Musua, James W. Musau, Scolastica Nzioka, Christine
Mikayo, Regina Muindi. He was also brother to Moses M. Musau, Late Bonface
Maundu,late Peter Musau, Phillip Musau, Mutiso Musau, Jackson N. Musau, Rev.
Patrick N. Musau, Late Shadrack M Musau, Geoffrey N. Musau, Damaris K. Ndeti,
Late Anna Kikuvi, late Ann Mutua, Magdalene Muange, Naomi King'oo, Lembi
Muteti, Josephine Waviti Thomas and Dorcas Mwikali Maingi.

EDUCATION
The Late Mathias M. Musau joined, Mulumini Primary in 1967, (std 1) and left in 1973
having sat for Certificate of Primary Education (CPE). In 1974 the late Mathias joined
Machakos Central high School but transferred to Emali Secondary school in 1975 where he
did both Kenya Junior Secondary School (KJSE) in 1975 and East African Certificate
Education (EACE)in 1977 qualifying well but couldn't further his education in institutions
of higher learning due to lack of financial resources.
MARRIAGE
The late Mathias loved and married Grace Kanini daughter of the late Peter Musyoka
Kiamba and Dorcas Rael Musyoka. God blessed them with 9 children 5 sons and 4
daughters; namely Caroline Kavenge(married), Diana Mwongeli (married), Alphonsus
Mulinge, Catherine Nduku (Married), George Mandela, Jenifer Ndee, Justus Musau (Nau),
Elijah Musyoka and Daniel Kalonzo.
God be praised because He enabled me educate my children to the level they are today. As I
leave this world, I have left behind my daughter-in-law Victoria Kanini Mulinge, my
grandchildren whom I love most – Ian Mutuku, Maxwell Mutuku, Charity Mututu, Israel
Maingi Mutuku, Nthenya Wambua, Katheu Wambua, Muthiki Muthoka Wambua (twins),
