SPORE: the Centre of the Galaxy (meeting Steve!) [HD]

Heya! I just recently got the game 'SPORE' and have been playing it almost non-stop. I decided to film me getting to the centre of the galaxy... and meeting the legendary Steve!

Yes, I used cheats (most noticeably the "refillMotives" cheat) to get past all the stupidly annoying Grox, but this game wasn't saved so I didn't get any rewards for it, also I don't like using cheats on 'SPORE', it's just so much more interesting without them. =P

I didn't put credits in the video because I just wanted you to see the video with no titles or credits or other nonsense. So here's a few things I used:
- Filming software: Fraps screen recorder
- Editing software: Sony Vegas Pro 8.0

Also, the reason I added a watermark to the screen isn't really to claim it as mine and stop people stealing it, it's just me seeing how a watermark would look. So I was exploring really.

By Sol, he basically means the sun. We are the third planet from the sun so he means that he lives on earth =P. You can find earth in the game, but as far as I can remember it's empty... you can colonise it if you like.

I just realized something. Steve says at the end for a free breakfast to look for the third rock from sol, which is what the solar system is called in spore. And the third rock from the sun is the earth. So steve is from earth. :D

Twelve years before this game came out, Maxis made an intro to Simcity 2000 of the exact same spacecraft entering the center of the galaxy.

I know it's an in-joke, but the whole concept of retroactively making a throwaway video important to a game 12 years later deeply disturbs me. Irrationally.
