Yes!!! I use a 10 000 luxe lamp about 30min daily from mid October to April!!! Helps a lot!! Avoid using after 3pm -- can mess with circadian rhythms!

My entire family struggles with this. Chicago winters are an eternity of frozen hell.... Glad you found something that helps!!

Also check out red light therapy lamps or panels if you struggle with muscle aches and fatigue in the colder months!!

My mom, hubby and myself are all affected by seasonal depression. We used to live in Michigan, it's better now that we're in Arizona. But yes still happens from time to time.

I definitely get SAD over the winter months particularly with how the cold affects my physical disability. Unfortunately I’m really light sensitive so the SAD lamps don’t really work for me, I’ve been taking vitamin D supplements and that seemed to take the edge off it last winter but I’m not a medic so who knows.

My SAD gets worse as the winter continues. I've always wanted to try the lamps but the prices used to be so very expensive. That's for the info regarding this more affordable option.

Yes, I have SAD. I can’t tolerate the color of light the further north I go. Some movies are filmed in Canada and I have a hard time watching them. Solution: move to Florida for the color of light and watch movies filmed in Bollywood or Hollywood and not further north.
