After the time when Bunta installed the new engine (with bucket seat) didn't thought to install a proper RPM tachometer wich leds Takumi to drive the 86 really weird, giving that Takumi to try out different ways to drive it so he can change the settings of the 86 by himself........

Love Ryosuke's take on the new 86 engine. He knows there's a new engine in the 86, but he didn't expect it to be that insanely good. And he guessed correctly that Takumi was struggling to manage the new engine, which means he also now knows the new engine was put in to test Takumi's skills and make him experience new things. It's precisely why he decides to form Project D and recruit Takumi.

Can you imagine getting your hands on a race engine. If I could get get my hands on the v6 indi Honda engine that revs to 12k rpm I swapped my fk8 l20c engine on a heart beat. Even tuning down a 12k rpm engine to like 10k still will sound so beast
