This is incredibly good information. It gives a rough explanation of radiation effects as well as a QM lesson. I was initially lost regarding photons and apparent mass. After looking up the Standard Model of particle physics it becomes more clear. Thank you!

Do we know if the photon is allowed to interact with a neutron since the neutron has no electric charge? Interesting video by the way.

Sir, does the term apparent mass actually refer to apparent relativistic mass?
If it does, then won't the apparent rest mass of a photon be infinite?(on replacing m by gamma*m0 and simplifying??) I didn't mean a real scenario, just looking theoretically....
