NITECORE UT27 Ultra Lightweight Dual Beam Fusion Elite Headlamp

Here's a review on the NITECORE UT27 Headlamp. This headlamp is designed for trail running but I believe that it can be adapted to many other outdoor activities.

520 LUMEN DUAL BEAM HEADLAMP - The UT27 headlamp comes with a 400 lumen warm white spot light, and a 200 lumen cool white flood light for wide angle coverage.
DUAL FUEL - The UT27 comes with a USB-C rechargeable HLB1300 battery pack but also accepts 3x AAA batteries for backup.
COMFORTABLE TO WEAR - weighs only 2.61 ounces with battery and headband. Features a breathable headband with reflective decals and a silicone strip for enhanced grip.
DESIGNED FOR OUTDOOR - The UT27 boasts an IP66 waterproof rating and is built to last. The auxiliary red light is great for hunting, camping, emergencies, and hiking.
Contents: Nitecore U27 Headlamp, Nitecore HBL1300 Rechargeable Li-ion Battery, USB-C Charging Cable, Headband, Lumentac Cable Organizer

Got this one on the way, thanks for feeding my flashoholic personality. (New classification of disorder). I really like the nu 25 and another nitecore model. Glad the spot is a warm light as this doesn’t effect depth perception or wash out colors so much.

The thing I don't like about rechargeable batteries are they don't usually like cold weather and it's been - 20 below here lately and I've been have to run the tractor and shovel roofs and walkways and headlamps are nice how would that hold up. The headlamp I use now I use Energizer Max batteries and they seem to hold up.

This light comes so close, but it's not a winner. The lowest white light is 55 lumens flood, which is far too bright. There needs to be an additional moon mode of around 5 lumens. The lowest red light is 16 lumens which is still quite bright. It needs an extra mode of 1 lumen for red.

Bright is important for trail runners, but good low modes are important for everyone.

Mine is nu32 it's not perfect but more useful and battery has longer life.

The only issue I have with mine is both spot and flood won't stay on at the same time longer than 30 seconds. Then goes to only flood or spot. If I'd of known that I wouldn't of bought it

Can't go wrong with a hands free light. I like the stuff sack feature, never seen that. Thanks for reviewing this! 💪👏

Looks promising. Just wish you could plug the charger into the headlamp and not have to open up the battery compartment and charge the battery directly. Great review! Thank you!

That looks like a nice one. The stuffsack diffuser is pretty clever too!
