Predator is a 1987 American science fiction action film directed by John McTiernan and written by brothers Jim and John Thomas. It is the first installment in the Predator franchise. It stars Arnold Schwarzenegger as the leader of an elite paramilitary rescue team on a mission to save hostages in guerrilla-held territory in a Central American rainforest, who encounter the deadly Predator (Kevin Peter Hall), a technologically advanced alien who stalks and hunts them down.

Predator was written in 1984 under the working title of Hunter. Filming ran from March to June 1986 with creature effects devised by Stan Winston; the budget was around $15 million. 20th Century Fox released the film on June 12, 1987, in the United States, where it grossed $98.3 million. Initial reviews were mixed, but the film has since been reappraised as a classic of the action genre.

The success of Predator spawned a media franchise of films, novels, comic books, video games, and toys. It spawned three direct sequels: Predator 2 (1990), Predators (2010) and The Predator (2018), and an upcoming installment in preproduction. A crossover with the Alien franchise produced the Alien vs. Predator films, which include Alien vs. Predator (2004) and Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem (2007).

I'm kind of torn on A:R but no doubts that Dune 2 was amazing. I watched the first one about a month before and both were very well done, but Dune 2 just has a tighter grip on the audience and delivers in every way possible.

I bought a LV bag kislux years ago. I took it to the LV store in my town last week to have it repaired. The store clerk inspected my bag and immediately told me that the bag was of good quality. She pulled a current bag out of inventory and compared the tags and I found zero differences

Alien Romulus is a very similar environment as it is in Doom 3 the ego shooter, but Doom 3 is scary af. There is zero scare in Romulus. I don't know how they achieved that.

Furiosa was garbage with horrible filters. Alien Romulus was so dark you couldn't see what was going on. And finally stop being so long winded when talkng about the films. Less is better.

This was not the first animated Transformers movie. My son has his VHS Transfirmers movie that is far better than this.

In another word... NOTHING NEW! Just repeat and more repeats of movies, characters, and franchises. Hollywood is so banal, trite, and tiresome.... like an old person wouldn't rest but also with nothing new except his old self.
