Welcome to Part 1 of my Pacaya Samiria Tour in the Peruvian Amazon with Amazon Experience! In this video, it's just the introduction to this amazing ecosystem. We start from Iquitos, go to Nauta, then get on the boat, and head to Pacaya Samiria National Reserve to see what we can find. The first night, we stayed in Buenos Aires, a small community inside the reserve. The next morning, we go looking for pink amazon river dolphins and sloths. The biodiversity here is absolutely incredible.

The Pacaya Samiria National Reserve is located outside Iquitos in Loreto, Peru. It's huge at 20,800 km squared. It's also an extremely popular place for tourists to explore the Amazon and do fun activities such as camping, fishing for piranhas, swimming in the river, spotting wildlife such as monkeys, toucans, jaguars, anteaters, and so much more.
