Let be honest though, The PSO (contractor security) are the ones doing their jobs, they are in front line in all the buildings.

I began my federal law enforcement career with FPS in 1974. It’s encouraging to see that they have evolved along with the rising and changing threats to our safety and our freedoms.

I thought the video was very insightful. I would like to probably pursue a future with FPS.

I’m a current PSO, this position is difficult you also have to have prior military to even be accepted

I like the radios in the command post as I've got photos of me that we're taking inside of that Command Post but never published for obvious security reasons

This is arguably one of the hardest agencies to get on with if you are unwilling or unable to relocate. I recently received a return email from recruitment after a long wait but disappointingly they had nothing available even remotely near me. Hoping for a breakthrough at some point.

If you don't have a Campaign Metal /VRA they will NOT hire you... I personally experienced this

PSO’s (Protective Security Officer) are the ones actually doing most of FPS work. There’s not enough FPO’s to cover all federal buildings. All FPS do is further enforce policies, laws and/or make an arrest if necessary. Their primary job is to oversee PSO’s.
