I put this video together as a project for my Film & Television Production course at Kinsale College of Further Education,
It is taken from 6 sources. The original version of "Cartrouble (part 2)" video
from the "Dirk Wears White Sox" L.P. (1979), The "Zerox" DT version video (1979), Cover art, Label art (1980) "Live in Tokyo" video & the 7" version of "Cartrouble" (1980) as a fan of Adam and the Ants since the first album and as there was never an official video for this 7" single version I've always wanted to give this a shot and now here it is...Enjoy!

lived in San Diego at this time (early 1980s), driving in under $500 dollar used cars, and listening to Adam Ant. Memories. Good ones (except for the car troubles, but without the car troubles maybe I wouldn't remember those times? lol).

Very cool mix, I like both versions, but this mix is great. Seems like yesterday, I was a teen listening to the first incarnation of 'the Antz'✌️👍💜😊

Record labels hate Part 1 and rarely publish it.

My first Car was a Light Blue two-door Chevrolet Cavalier. There are no coincidences.

ADAM AND THE ANTS Cartrouble 1642pm 12.10.22 polishing big turds - that was punk rock. but then why would you wanna polish such muck when they werent meant to be.... polished. yer sisters all enjoyed george o'dowd and young lads enjoyed admanadtheants - and i often wonder to if yer ever left isolated alone and the acme of alienation then y'know yerv been asked to expatiate upon such events as punk rock. looking bemused you may as well do as they did when confronted with such a task as explaining away a statement which suggested you were proffering the opinion they were all thinking, anyway... and leave a large stain of curdy crud running down their footpaths and door ways. failing that fire bomb them!!! adios. p.s if anyone asks the first lp was the best. dirk wears white sox. i bought my own fair and square ask the record shop i will not name lest retards come along and demand recompense....
