Why it formed the island chain? I mean if the Pacific Plate keeps moving northwest and the magma keeps melt the bottom of the crust. Then It will form a continuous land instead of an island chain?

Dump a sarcophagus designed to only break down after it reaches the bottom of the magma chamber, then the fuel can come out and safely melt down to the core where there is no water table to cause any water vapor blasts.


Heck, even if you dumped the waste straight in, it would sink straight down and theb could easily dilute to less than 1000x the concentration of the origina, already safely dilute rocks it came out of if the chamber was big enough.
