We've spent a decade or so of people getting cancelled and losing everything for minor "social offences". You can't act surprised that people are scared of losing everything for speaking up for themselves.

"You should speak out and sacrifice years of training and career."

You first Tim.

Tim : "I'm sick of people not standing up for themselves".
Also Tim: "I must comply with YouTube censorship"

What bugs me about these situations is that when you speak about biological facts, people associate it with being transphobic. I am not transphobic at all, I could care less what you want to identify as. But I will always be pro-science. And science tells us that male bodies are not the same as female bodies. If you want to be transgender, cool. No problem. But you should not be able to compete with women when you are still biologically male and have advantages that not one of those women have. Just because your outside appearance is female does not make you, biologically, female. And those biological women who worked their asses off to get where they are... are being beaten by a biologal male in a woman's sport. Thats just not fair.

Abused woman: "He doesn't mean to hurt me, sometimes he just has a little too much to drink after a stressful day at work."
Tim: "If you won't speak up for yourself, then why should I?"

I don't understand how Tim is so hard on the swimmers for not standing up when he is doing the exact same thing with youtube.

Tim: “These people need to speak out!”
Sav: “They are! They’re being censored, that’s why you don’t hear about them. I just interviewed them the other day.”
Tim: *surprised Pikachu face*

Funny hearing Tim talk about speaking up. How many stories has he purposefully skirted the facts to keep from being demonetized?

I understand that Tim went through hardship and doesn't respect anyone that doesn't help themselves. But Tim is consistently off the mark when applying his principles to others. An equivalent to the swimmers and Tim's story would be if Tim lost all prospects for journalism when he turned down the Vice contract and had to choose a completely different career path.

He forgets that not everyone has the flexibility he had. Not to mention his own hypocrisy for speaking out but censors himself until he's behind the pay wall. It's one of the major things that weakens his stances and strengthens the accusations of grifting.

Tim - "How dare people not be willing to become martyrs."

Also Tim - "We have to be careful not to step over the line they drew for us. "

Tim playing the “I did the hard thing others should risk their career too” while censoring himself so he does lose YouTube. This is why we can’t be taken seriously

reminder that Tim is also not standing up to YouTube whenever he refuses to speak about certain topics that would get his stream taken down. He is a hypocrite and he accepts the censorship put on him.

This is a great example of why I barely watch Tim Pool videos anymore and only watch for the guests. Elijah had a great point and Tim didn't listen to it and went off on a rant that he's gone on a million times that no one needs to hear anymore.

Tim: nobody's speaking up.
Sav: they did. I talked to them.
Tim: doesn't count. I didn't hear it.

The problem with Tim's hypothetical is that if I chose homelessness over grooming, my kids would still get taken away because the state would deem me an unfit parent. Tim, I love you man but you don't have children and don't understand that sometimes as a father you don't get the luxury of certain principles.

I have to disagree with Tim on this one. If the swimmers are too scared or too brainwashed to protest, that doesn’t make what these sports organizations are doing to women right.

Elijah and Savannah are completely in the right on this. Tim's not wrong for trying to get people to stand up for their rights, but he's failing to be empathetic and it makes him look like a tool. Our problems shouldn't be with the athletes who compete in these events, but rather those who use their money and influence to sway the organizations like NCAA in this direction.

Tim’s hypocrisy shines more and more with each segment on this topic. The self censoring man asking why these swimmers don’t speak out. He mentions that there are topics “that are difficult to talk about on YouTube” in this very video😭😭

“why did they compete?” Dude.. if any of the athletes forfeited, there are PLENTY of swimmers who are vying for those spots.

It's always amusing when Tim gets all high and mighty on how people need to throw caution to the wind and stand up for what's right. Always amusing.
