Compared to the flip 6 I got on rollback at Walmart brand new for $79 I can’t say it’s justified especially when the keep hiking up the price. The thing that made the original flips cool was it was a quality affordable $99 speaker. Now it’s increased in price by half that. At that point there are better options.

I hate that JBL constantly changes its multi speaker standard and to be fair it seems that most speaker companies do it when it doesn’t seem to make any sense when all you are doing is allowing audio to be played through multiple devices at once its just a matter of getting people to spend more money for a simple feature.

The Flip 6 sounds a whole lot better than the Charge 5 that’s the reason why I gave me Charge 5 to my oldest boy because the size wasn’t justified compared to the sound.

For 150 just get the soundlink flex 2. I’ve had a lot of JBL speakers, but this Bose is probably my favorite small speaker ive ver had.

I have one each of Flip 6, Charge 5 and Xtreme 4. I might add another Charge 5 for a stereo setup if the price drops further, but thats it for portable speakers for a while. Next I would be interested in buying is the Encore 2 when it comes out later this year ❤

Hmmmm 1 flip 7 with 1 tweeter 1 woofer for 149.99 or 1 wking d320 with 2 tweeters 1 woofer and much better battery life and accompanying app for 60 bucks ? Easy choice!! Just my 2 cents!!
