It's a new step for EV. Commercial vehicles always played as a dawn to become fully EV mandated Singapore before can be applied to passenger private cars. Commercial vehicles do more polluting than private cars due to applications that they're kept moving almost 24/7. Private cars are rarely driven as much as commercial vehicles.
