Petra’s redemption arc was such a good storyline and the writing and storytelling was amazing!! They managed to make my least favorite character into my favorite

Jane the virgin ended two weeks ago and I can tell it’s the best American telenovela ever! I recommend you watching Betty la fea but the original Colombian version.

Jane the Virgin can seem a little bizarre because it has the structure of a Latin Telenovela! Which is something Latinos enjoy a lot and it makes it even more hilarious ‘cuz it’s in
English 😂😂

Edit: yes, I am aware that *not all* Latinos watch telenovelas nor enjoy them. The comment is supposed to be generic. Also, it’s an American telenovela but has elements from Latin telenovelas, which I know it’s like the whole point, but what’s interesting is the way the show plays with those elements.
