There are tons of high paying jobs that don't necessarily need a degree. Sometimes you can just prove that you are good at what you do. Sometimes, you can just sorta know a guy. I'm looking to become a sound designer in shows and gaming, and from what I've found, plenty of sound designers just showed a personal or freelance project and said, "This is what I did, and how I did it."

Also, I bake. I'm fairly good at it, and it is just perfectly therapeutic.

Im a senior living dining room server. In a VERY upscale resident home. I really like my job. I never work later than 8 at night. The residents love me and tell me how much they appreciate me. Even the more crankier ones. I get 2 free meals a day. My coworkers are great people for the most part. It's awesome👍

Out of this whole list I think Baker is something I’d really love to do (I have an arts degree so to potential employers that’s sometimes seen as worse than having no degree I guess) but I think I’ve always wanted to be a Baker because I love when I get to be alone with my thoughts when it’s real late or real early so it’s real quiet, I love working with my hands, and I love being able to use my creativity. If you know anyone who is hiring Bakers in the Austin, TX area, please hit me up! ☺️

Don’t need a college degree to succeed in the IT career field; Just the patience and dedication to self-study for certifications and training.

As a student job, I work at a Canadian province's government-run liquor store. I act as a cashier/ your run-of-the-mill retail employee that refills shelves and helps out clients, and I make 21$/h and am fully unionized. If I decided to drop out of school for some reason and worked there full-time, I could reach 30$/h pretty easily with little to no more responsibility, with advancing possibilities. Most of the time, I'm paid to walk around the store or chat at the cash register with colleagues. It rarely gets stressful, except during big holiday periods such as Christmas/NY, or on some summer weekends.

So, if you live in Canada, your province has centralized liquor stores and you don't want to go to school to get a stable job, apply there. I've said it multiple times, it's probably one of, if not the coziest jobs there is if you're a wine and/or alcohol in general aficionado.

I have a fashion merchandising and management bachelors degree. I've done two TWO unpaid internships. I have been unemployed for 6 months, keep getting rejected left and right most say lack of experience and im applying for entry level positions lmao. I got mad and started my own clothing business. Haven't made any sales yet but it would be amazing to come back here in the future and say that im a successful brand and dont need to work for no asshole.

CDL A driver. I make $26/hr for local only. I work Monday-Friday 6am-2:30 pm. No weekends, no holidays. I don't touch any cargo. I'm not on a 'time crunch' schedule. I only drive maybe 5 hours most a day. It's a box truck. 401k, 2 weeks paid vacation, 1 personal day a month, 1 sick day a month. It's a company lease so I have no costs. Basically a free daily road trip and I get have a life like a normal person. BEST JOB EVER.
