Thanks for showing a few examples of the distance between yourself and the subjects you are photographing... so essential for a beginner like me to know, and yet you're the first person on Youtube I've seen doing this..

I have the 35mm f/2 IS and use it for most of my boxing shots. It's pretty good.

The f2 is one of my favourite walk around lenses on my C100 MkII.

I own both 35mm 2.0 and 35mm 2.8 Macro. Both are great lenses but you have to adjust to them, not the other way around. I'd trade them both for the 35mm 1.4. 35mm at heart is an editorial lens and the 1.4 is where you'd get the most range for those timeless editorial shots in the streets.

the sharpest one is the 35/1.4 L II but 3D Rendition of the 35 L classic is better due to 11 elements (lower element count) ... versus 15 in the Mark II L 35/2 IS suffers from back focus issues i have heard

Canon 35mm f1.4 mkii is fantastic lens. Destroys everything on the market..
