I had to tell my little brother what was happening to him because no one else would. I am a girl. I’ve actually found myself having to explain puberty to my male friends since I was like twelve. I don’t much anymore but my male friends come to me for comfort. I kinda became known for being “the girl that helps guys” this is not how I expected high school to be.

As a Mom of two boys (13 & 14) I appreciate this video so much! Ahh, I forgot about those times.. so at 12 years old, I was the smallest kid in school at 4’10. I remember I used to get picked on a lot I also used to put this height extended thing in my shoe to make me taller. Then I had a huge grow spurt around 13, leaving me 5’9 at the age of 14. I remember looking into the mirror when I was in my younger puberty stages seeing an visible moustache, I remember thinking to my self “dude, I’m growing to be a man soon” at 16 I was 6’6 leaving me at 20 (now) to be 6’8. Wasn’t expecting to be that tall, but i revisit those kids who used to call me a dwarf or a migit that’s like down to my waist. Funny times
