RF elements StarterDish 24 UM Unboxing

Показать описание
RF elements StarterDish 24 is a great entry level product to ease into RF elements technology. Starter antennas deliver the best RF performance and all the essential functionality for a very competitive price. They are easy to use with the radio platform you already have.
Other Starter Antennas:
The radiation pattern of a dish antenna is highly directional. With increasing size of the StarterDish the main lobe beam width gets narrower and the gain grows. Thanks to the highly directional radiation pattern, StarterDish 24 is ideal as a CPE antenna to connect the clients.
The StarterDish antenna is designed for reliable performance in high noise areas - the minimized SLs diminish the noise the radio sees resulting in high throughput. The minimized SLs and narrow beam of StarterDish makes it a perfect antennas for dense deployments as client stations. Reduced size of SL ensures that the antenna receives and transmits the signal only from the desired directions, protecting your network from RF noise, the no. 1 problem of unlicensed 5GHz networks.
The StarterDish antenna provides a great field performance based on three components:
1. The useful bandwidth of the StarterDish 24 spans 900 MHz in the 5 GHz frequency range, giving you enough bandwidth to choose the right channel depending on how crowded the spectrum is.
2. The gain of the StarterDish 24 is stable over the whole bandwidth and equal for both H and V polarizations, so changing the channels or polarization makes no difference to the signal level and lets you truly leverage all the channels your radio supports.
3. Frequency sweep of the main beam is showing how little gain changes in every direction. It is also very stable over the whole bandwidth, adding to the stability of the connection the dish provides.
Radio connectivity
StarterDish 24 comes with the option to readily use Mimosa UI waveguide radios which makes the deployment of StarterDishes very easy. For universal radio connectivity, you can get optional StarterAdapter SMA, with two female RP-SMA connectors that lets you connect any radio with coaxial interface.
RF noise, unstable throughput, or jumping modulation rates are but a few symptoms that a wireless network suffers from high interference - with RF elements antennas, you can reject noise, save spectrum, and grow smart.
Mechanical & assembly part
The body and the antenna base of the StarterDish is made of steel with protective powder coated layer of color. The bracket parts are made of extruded aluminium to protect it from oxidizing. The mounting of the AS is an industry standard U-bolt bracket for quick and easy deployment. The U-bolt nuts have black colored anti-friction surface coating protecting them from seizing extending the longevity of t he bracket.
Once the antenna is aimed and the tilt adjusted, you can install either waveguide-based radios with the adapter included in the package, or any other radio using a pair of female RP-SMA connectors with the optional adapter, and you’re ready to go.
