I remember when me and my boyfriend broke up and a few weeks later he went to America and asked me to sit outside (i live in Amsterdam) and look at the stars while playing this song. While listening to this song all I can think about is my dog that passed away on April 27. He was my best friend and he was the one who was there when no one else was. This song made me cry. It made me think of my mother who passed away this past February after a short three month battle with pancreatic cancer. And I know it’s a love song but I loved my mother and miss her so much and on a clear night I always find myself looking up to the sky at the stars finding the brightest one knowing she is looking down on us all.
