Some people never notice this but Asian parents are the most loving parents u could wish for. They force u to study bc the wanted us to have a better future then them. 😭😭😢

It's true. My mom was the typical control freak parent for the first 15 years of my life because she wanted to keep me in line. She controlled my school performance, my dad my social life. When I graduated and moved out, I got into trouble because of the sudden freedom, and even when I was kidnapped by a crazy Tinder date, I didn't think my parents would help me so I never looked for them even when I escaped and became homeless. In the end, I decided to trust my instinct one last time and called home. They cried and welcomed me home, and gave me no shit. Mom even apologised after a long talk. Now that I'm nearing 30 and have nephews/nieces, I can sort of understand where my mom came from.
