On March 15, 2022, I decided to try out getting the Westbound Valley Turn out in Langley. I decided to come over to this crossing to catch it. Initially, I was notified that the crossing signals wouldn't work and the crossing would be flagged. Later on, a signal maintainer came by and turned on the power to this crossing. Shorty after, the train came by with 381 and 382 for power, but with only three hoppers. That's because it cut the rest of its train at 62 Avenue so it can switch the customer just slightly west of this crossing without blocking any crossings.
This crossing is rather standard for this section of the Fraser Valley Sub. The Township of Langley has been giving a lot of funding to all the railroads in its area (especially SRY) to upgrade crossings for improved safety. This crossing specifically was upgraded from crossbucks in 2021. Because the hydro poles follow the line with many low wires, a bunch of crossings have hinged gates. It certainly makes them stand out despite them being modern installs.
