When did Supreme Court start interfering in CBN fiscal policies. We just do things upside down in this country. And the CBN sef should simply pump out the old N200 as announced to bridge the cash crunch until they can sort out these matters…

Yes, nowhere else in the world have i heard courts interfering in a central bank's monetary policies. That's just a recipe for financial chaos. But the FG messed up legally by constantly making pronouncements on the old naira notes' legal tender soon after summons of the CBN governor to meetings at the villa, thus giving the impression that it's the FG driving the policy, & not the CBN acting independently

If these governors had chosen to work with the CBN from the beginning of the announcement of this policy, their so-called hard-to-reach, rural residents and others would have had access to the cash swap, and all this drama would be avoided. Or so I think.

When these Naira re design started, I remember the Minister for Finance said, there are ripple effects. And that she was not even aware. Mr Emefiele and co went ahead. See the situation we are all into. These clearly shows his incompetence and cluelessness. After this judgement, y did Mr Emefiele not run to Mr President again?
Very soon, he will reap what he planted for we Nigerians. Ashiwaju Bola Ahmad Tinubu will teach him some lessons.

Going by all these supreme court judgements it is obvious that the judges there have been compromised.
What is the governors involvement in all of these except their own selfish gains bc the new policy has interfered with their stacks of old notes in their houses.
CBN is an autonomous institution whose fiscal policies cannot be questioned

The big issue facing Nigeria now is the outcome of the presidential elections and way forward to recover our stolen mandate from APC. Please APC should not distract us from the big issue because if we have the right leaders all this nonsense will stop.
