I love the way Justin starts things off with a fallacy: "our debt to GDP ratio is low". It's amongst the highest in the developed world.

Refugees are NOT about the economy, Mr. Trudeau! Economic migrants are. Or doesn't he understand the difference?

I don't even really like Mulcair that much but that was hilarious "you'd know a lot about that wouldn't you Justin?"

Disappointed with Trudeau. He did not show the leadership qualities I would like to see. I am not an NDP fan as I don't think Social ism is responsible government. Harper is arrogant along with the rest of the conservatives. Their distain for social programs is clearly creating a need for more and furthering a greater problem with health care and a greater deficit with the economy and a bigger tax burden. I have always been a liberal supporter this time I
am leaning to the Green party. I like their answer to support people to eventually support themselves.

A debt-to-GDP ratio of 60% is quite often noted as a prudential limit for developed countries. We're sitting at around 66% in Canada- maybe we shouldn't run up more debt yet.

Glad I didn't tune in when this was on live TV. What a snoozefest. It makes me wish 'none of the above' was an option on the ballot.

What will cost Trudeau and Mulcair are 2 things
1 - Their relative if not complete lack of skill, knowledge and interest in economic policy compared to Harper
2 - Their acceptance for unrestricted immigration which populated areas in Canada do not want more of - and set aside innocent refugees here - they are softer on especially those from political and religious groups which we may not trust or those that have issues assimilating in the country. More of that will also mean low wage employment 'pizza delivery' and 'call centre' jobs for these people.

Keeping Elizabeth May of the Green Party out of the debate ensured that these clowns can replicate low brow schoolyard bickering. The fallacies told to the Canadian public regarding the environment and debt are shameful during this debate. During the Maclean's debate we were at least treated to the occasional piece of common sense debating and factual numbers regarding topics by Elizabeth May. I stopped strategic voting years ago in order to sleep well at night with my conscience. While I agree that Harper has to go, I cannot endorse these three particular leaders.

This Aaron Tyler guy spent so much time on YouTube arguing for the Conservatives that he probably ended up convincing people to vote Liberal. Annoying little flies I tell ya.

Justin tried so hard to be a alpha male it was hilarious listening to his memorized statements that had no context to the conversation.

Also Mulcair = Frank Underwood ;)

I think that Harper will get in again. Even if the liberals lead the poll they won't do him in with. The number of tory seats are secured over the country. Mulcair is a more intelligent inspiring man who stands for correct things and had an impact on students and lots of people alike. Trudeau is not the cleverest leader although has others behind him who can take control of the campaign - although the problem with Mulcair yet alone Trudeau is that the two of them have no economic policies for the country which Harper is most sound and strong on

90% is low? I guess compared to 200% but it is high compared to 50%. The GDP to Debt ratio is a poor gauge of economic conditions in the first place and to get accurate, the unemployment rate should be double where it is at least to reflect reality. We need to create sustainable manufacturing and give small businesses a break so they can expand and more investment comes here. Make Canada attractive. Small business should get a break for hiring an unemployed person on welfare or E.I and interest free loans for start up businesses or expansions. Bottom up and long term solutions are needed.

I am amazed at so many people who say they won't vote conservative yet the conservatives could still win a minority. Who are these people and where are they hiding? it is great to see the liberals moving ahead in the polls. I like his fiscal policy yet the greens have come a long way and I like their common sense values. still confused and still becoming informed.

Canada is no longer the Canada i knew and felt proud to be growing up - Harper needs to GO, if you cant vote for others but cons, then just dont vote this year. and if your for the green party vote for justin or Tom because to vote green is only thinning out the votes and nothing will change

This is ridiculous. This candidate CLEARLY didn't intended for a violent rally. you said it yourself "pro-palestinian rally that TURNED violent".

I believe Canadians do not understand conservative policy vs liberal policy. PLEASE for the love of god, PLEASE read each policy. If you are a low-middle wage earner, liberals will take from the rich and give to the poor + middle class (like robin hood). whereas conservative policies make it easier for the rich to get richer and the poor to get poorer (the gap between the rich and poor has gotten MUCH bigger since Harper's introduction to the House as Prime Minister. Mulcair is right in the middle with this one.

EDUCATE yourself BEFORE your vote.
vote for the POLICIES not what people tell you
think for YOURSELF

As a sociology graduate, I promise you that the BEST choice (not the perfect choice) for 90% of Canadians is the LIBERALS or the GREEN parties because of their leftist ideologies and policies.

This is a country where we work TOGETHER for the betterment of all of society. NOT a country where we support the "survival of the fittest".
