It's time to settle to debate once and for all with our awesome new Ultracap!!! Are all those cool looking capacitors from Amazon and Best Buy really solving the problems people are buying them for? Do they help with overall voltage drop? Will they increase RMS wattage? What about MAX watts? Well, let's put the myth to the test by testing and comparing with an awesome new product: The Ioxus Ultracap Supercapacitor Module. That's right, guys! We'll even highlight a VERY DIFFICULT test to perform with Tony D'Amore's DYNAMIC POWER demo at the end. Thanks for watching and remember to JOIN THE GIVAWAY by commenting below for a chance to win a UC-31 for yourself!!!!

the key to a cap working is it HAS to be near the amp it is feeding...that is why the 1f showed positive results. Good video Exo!!!

As a ASE mechanic and mecp certified advanced level tech I can say that if you are pulling that many amps that your alternator is slowing and causing your belt to slip you are definitely pulling at least 110% of that alternator you need a bigger alt and need to look at the belt, tensioner pulley to make sure it is applying enough tension to the belt so it doesn’t slip
And keep up the good work on these videos very informative and very easy for newbies to follow. Great work and thank you.

I ended up getting the battery form Xs Power Supercaps 500 farad, from you guys, and I love it ! HUGE difference ! Stabilizes the shit out of my electrical 👍 Big improvement in dynamic headroom too... (for kickdrums and other instantaneous bass notes)
Thanks guys 🙂 Keep on it ! Love the vids too.

Whoever said caps suck is those who bought a cheap 1 farad one.
Whover said caps are good is those who bought a good capacitor. Ending the debate thanks EXO!

I am an Electronics hobbyist & former installer. This video makes total and complete sense!
I understand why you need to explain it to the average person, so that they can understand. It's all about capacity. All capacitors can accept a charge & discharge extremely fast. Some faster than others. But you throw that many farad's in a capacitor Bank, backed up with voltage regulation and Bluetooth. You got plenty of juice to make your Bass Thunder hard!
Nice demonstration brother!👍🇺🇸

Back in the day we used caps to save the alternator. Older cars often had like 40amp max alternators. With a big amp they used to pull more power then the battery and alternator could handle, especially over long periods of time. A decent capacitor was often used if you didn't like replacing alternators or push starting your car

Been years since I first saw this guy. Always come back to check and see how he’s doing from time to time. OG of the audio game right here lol.

I love your channel bro, extremely informational. I don't know why I didn't subscribe years ago.. I'm self-taught with years of experience by trial and error, starting at 12 years old when I bought my first pair of subs which were two 10-in MTX thunders with the gray cardboard cone in 1994. Your the only one online that I found that can answer the questions I have to the best of your knowledge without taking sides or trying to talk up a certain favorite brand..
In my eyes, for sure a trusted source of car stereo information, while breaking it down for people to understand. THANK YOU, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!

I made my own up to 16V 500 farad capacitor bank using 6 3V 3000 farad cells connected in series without any electronics 2 years ago. I put all that in a foam padded plywood box and just hooked up in parallel with my car battery. My car never has a problem cranking over and I have no voltage drop at all with my current 1000W audio setup. I can start my car several times without the battery using this too so it doubles as a jump start booster pack.

Finally, I have been wondering about all the caps. Good to know what is actually the difference.

I bought the uc-31 strictly because of THIS video. Needless to say, I am not disappointed. I am now able to run a true 3k amplifier without a high output alternator. I have done the other necessary upgrades such as big 4 and quality ofc wiring. Going by the app for the uc-31 on the hardest hitting songs my voltage stays right around 14v. At idle it stays at mid 13's. Thank you Exo.

I actually recently acquired a regular capacitor the other day and was tossing around the idea of installing it but I'm not sure it would be worth messing with.. love your videos man. Good vibe and good info. Keep on keepin on man.
