This lecture is the final part of three-part series on reactive power management during power system operation. In the first and second part, we discussed on reactive power, its role in active power transfer, reactive compensation, challenges faced by grid operators in voltage and reactive power management, voltage instability and its types.
In this final part, we have discussed voltage stability solutions, regulations on reactive power management, Reactive power planning and planning criteria 2023, voltage management actions, Grid operator actions during high and low voltage situations.
