Inexplicably entertaining. What is it about bookish people that makes us so happy to nosey around other people's spaces admiring their books?

I see that you have a collected edition of 3 Pelecanos novels lined up with your other TBRs. He is one of the finest crime writers alive. I've read everything he's published and if that's the Nick Stefanos trilogy, you're in for a treat.

Marc, how do you find anything? Thanks for doing this tag! It was great to see your collection and the infamous shed. Why do you keep books you didn’t like?

Oddly I actually quite fancy doing this one that I missed first time around. Enjoyed yours.

After hearing you mention "the shed" so often, I was very excited to finally see it and then taken aback by how un-shed-like it looks 😂. Also, given all of your comments about the sorry state of British writing, I'm rather surprised you haven't "banished" all of your books by British writers to "the shed."
"Franz Kafka looked like Count Dracula" gave me a good chuckle 🙂

Love these kind of videos. I DNF'd State Of Wonder but was in a funny position of liking the story but also being bored with it the further I got in. Doesn't make any sense, I know. Bel Canto is next though. Also have The Keep by Jennifer Egan which I'm looking forward to

Laurent Binet has a new book coming out? Thanks for informing, I was totally unaware of that.

Somehow only seeing this now.
I really enjoyed having a nosy around your shelves.
I'm still on the fence about which Jennifer Egan to read next, I've loved Goon Squad and I have no clue what to follow it up with.
I love your little literary fingerpuppets. Too bad about Kafka!

I so wish I had kept a list of all or most the books I had read in my life. I can’t even muster the tracking of what I am reading now. How wonderful to tour your shelves! You definitely have some books I can’t wait to hear about: The Recognitions, Vollman, Ducks Newburyport, etc. I SO much want a bookish shed/conservatory now!

Great Tag showing some great books Marc! Can't wait to get your thoughts on the very unique 'Star Maker' and 'Canticle for Lebowitz'
